Bored? Here are 17 things to do when you are bored:-)

1. Read books on areas you would like to develop e.g. leadership, oratory skills, etc.

2. Exercise. A good work out session will definitely help you kill boredom.

3. Listen to music. Play and enjoy upbeat music that you can dance to or simply enjoy.

4. Make a diy craft. There’s this level of fun and excitement that comes with making craft works like paper planes, paper lanterns, clay pots, etc

5. Draw, paint, make artworks. The beautiful part of this is that you can sell the artworks you make and earn some extra cash.

6. Plan your finances, write a budget. If you’re bored, why not sit down to calculate how much you’ve spent in the month and how much you have made. Brainstorm ideas on how to make more money and write a budget you can commit to.

7. Hang out with friends, spend time with family. Call or video chat your family or old friends if they are far away.

8. Learn something new on YouTube. It could be a new language, a new skill or anything other thing that interests you.

9. Learn a new language. Can speak two or more languages already? Learn one more!

10. Write an essay or a story. Engage the imaginative and creative aspect of your brain and write a short story.

11. Arrange your clothes/do your laundry. If you’re bored, it may be a sign to do that laundry you’ve been putting off for weeks.

12. Create a timetable for your meals.

13. Start a gratitude journal. Write down the things you are grateful for so that whenever you feel sad, you can easily reflect on them and feel uplifted.

14. Try a new recipe. Don’t know how to cook a particular meal? Try out a new recipe and you just might really love it.

15. Read up on a random case, legal concept or legal maxim. Who knows, you just might learn something new that could save you during your exams.

16. Imagine an hypothetical case and try to form arguments for both sides. It helps to develop your critical thinking skills

17. Take an online course. There are a lot of free online courses you can take. LearnDigital by Google is a very good site to learn an online skill.
